About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and support Salesforce solutions across the organization
  • Translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions
  • Develop and maintain custom functionality using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, Flows, and related technologies
  • Ensure solutions follow development standards, security requirements, and Salesforce best practices
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, defects, and performance concerns
  • Partner with business and technology stakeholders to prioritize enhancements, technical debt, and platform investments
  • Establish development standards, coding practices, release management processes, and quality assurance protocols
  • Conduct code reviews and mentor developers, administrators, and technical team members
  • Identify opportunities for automation, innovation, and process improvement
  • Design, develop, and maintain Salesforce integrations with enterprise applications using APIs, middleware, and integration platforms
  • Support integration architecture and data exchange strategies
  • Collaborate with enterprise technology teams to optimize system connectivity and information flow
  • Build partnerships with business leaders and align solutions with operational objectives
  • Support user adoption through training, documentation, and system enhancements
  • Participate in project planning, solution design sessions, and organizational initiatives
  • Provide technical guidance on solution capabilities, risks, and best practices
  • Serve as an escalation point for complex Salesforce issues and enhancement requests

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered
  • 3–5+ years of Salesforce development experience with demonstrated success delivering complex business solutions
  • Strong proficiency in Apex, SOQL/SOSL, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Visualforce
  • Experience with declarative development tools including Flow, Process Builder, and Validation Rules
  • Understanding of Salesforce data model, security model, and governor limits
  • Experience with Git and deployment tools such as SFDX, Gearset, Copado, or similar
  • Familiarity with REST/SOAP API integrations
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with technical and non-technical stakeholders
