About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide excellent internal account management to existing accounts in North America and international intercompany customers
  • Evaluate and input billing daily
  • Verify pricing
  • Complete billing and credit orders accurately and promptly
  • Maintain an order-entry and invoice-processing error rate below 0.1%
  • Respond to or acknowledge email requests within supervisor/manager guidelines
  • Initiate credit/rebill requests within 48 hours or less based on issue severity
  • Provide professional service that exceeds customer expectations
  • Process shipping and billing locations, delivery dates, and specific customer requirements
  • Manage multiple computer screens while communicating with internal customers by phone or email
  • Participate in special projects and perform other assigned duties

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
  • Excellent computer, keyboarding, and data entry skills
  • Proficiency with JDE, Workday, Teams, and InContact
  • Intermediate proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
  • Ability to manage multiple computer screens while communicating by phone or email
  • Knowledge of production within Research Models and Services
  • Knowledge of models and locations, products and services
  • Ability to attain competency level 2 or higher in Customer Master review and knowledge, Customer Restrictions review, View Customer Route, and View Special Pricing
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated attention to detail
  • Ability to process large volumes of information and prioritize duties under busy conditions
  • Ability to de-escalate situations calmly and diplomatically
  • Ability to work as a team player
  • Ability to read and interpret materials and communicate effectively
  • Dedication to the humane and ethical care of research animals
