Key responsibilities & impact
  • Gather data from multiple informational systems, internal departments, external partners, and customers
  • Verify the accuracy and completeness of collected data
  • Establish and maintain communication channels with data providers
  • Input data into the ERP system according to established procedures and standards
  • Ensure accurate and consistent data entry
  • Perform regular data audits and correct errors
  • Maintain and update ERP data to reflect business-operation changes
  • Maintain external connections to customer portal software
  • Conduct data cleaning and de-duplication activities
  • Develop and implement data quality improvement initiatives
  • Generate reports and analyze data to identify trends and patterns
  • Analyze data for potential issues or discrepancies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve data-related problems
  • Provide data-driven insights to support decision-making
  • Build and maintain internal and external cross-functional partnerships
  • Improve processes through root cause analysis, critical thinking, and creative problem-solving
  • Plan and prioritize work, manage time, meet deadlines, and follow up on commitments

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong data entry skills with high accuracy and speed
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
  • Experience with ERP systems; Microsoft Dynamics 365 and JD Edwards preferred
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Preferred: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in data analytics, business, information systems, or related field
  • Preferred: Experience in shared services – accounts receivable and payables
  • Preferred: Experience in data analysis and reporting
  • Preferred: Knowledge of data management best practices
  • Candidates may qualify for different role levels through combinations of advanced education and/or years of experience
