About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide financial planning, analysis, reporting and decision support for the Malaysia business
  • Partner with the SG/MY Cluster Country Head, Malaysia leadership team and SG/MY Cluster FP&A Manager
  • Lead Malaysia inputs for annual Budget and monthly forecast cycles
  • Work with commercial and cross-functional teams to validate assumptions, risks and opportunities
  • Prepare monthly performance reporting, variance analysis and commentary for Malaysia
  • Support cluster and regional reporting requirements relating to Malaysia
  • Provide business performance analysis covering revenue, gross margin, operating expenses, gross-to-net, customer/channel trends and key P&L drivers
  • Support financial modelling and scenario analysis to assess business risks, opportunities and management actions
  • Support financial governance, internal control discipline and compliance with company policies
  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency, data quality and planning processes
  • Collaborate with internal finance, commercial, supply chain, controlling, tax, treasury and Asia Finance teams, as well as external partners

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Degree Holder in Business Administration, major in Finance/Accounting is preferable
  • 5 to 7 years’ relevant finance experience, including at least 3 years in FP&A, management reporting, forecasting or business partnering
  • Strong financial modelling, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and management reporting capability
  • Experience in business performance analysis, gross-to-net, trade spend, P&L analysis or management reporting would be an advantage
  • Advanced Excel capability
  • Experience with ERP, planning or BI tools such as SAP, TM1, Power BI or similar systems preferred
  • Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to explain financial performance and business drivers clearly to non-finance stakeholders
  • Malaysia market experience in FMCG, consumer healthcare or pharmaceuticals preferred
  • Exposure to multi-market or regional FP&A environments would be an advantage
  • Strong ownership, accountability and attention to detail
  • Business-focused, analytical and comfortable challenging assumptions constructively
  • Clear and confident communicator who can build trust with finance and non-finance stakeholders
  • Able to manage deadlines, ambiguity and competing priorities while maintaining quality of output
  • Demonstrates integrity, sound judgement and respect for confidentiality
