About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead cross-functional projects of varying size and complexity
Coordinate stakeholders, assign tasks, and drive accountability while completing project tasks as needed
Partner with executive sponsors and department leaders to scope internal projects
Define objectives, deliverables, success criteria, constraints, and ownership
Build and maintain project plans, timelines, milestones, dependencies, resource needs, and responsibilities
Track progress, remove blockers, manage scope changes, and hold contributors accountable
Coordinate project work across Customer Success, Filing Services, Accounting, Compliance, Product, Development, Sales, Finance, and other departments
Balance strategic initiatives with smaller projects requiring direct execution of routine tasks
Communicate status updates, risk escalations, and decision requests to stakeholders from individual contributors to the C-suite
Facilitate project kickoffs, working sessions, and status meetings; document decisions and next steps
Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and interdependencies
Maintain visibility into the internal project portfolio and support leadership prioritization and capacity balancing
Establish and improve project management standards, templates, and tools
Lead post-project retrospectives and apply lessons learned
Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

4-year college degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related field preferred
3+ years of project management experience leading cross-functional projects, preferably within a SaaS or technology environment
Proven track record managing multiple concurrent projects of varying size and complexity
Demonstrated ability to operate as a hands-on project manager, balancing project coordination and stakeholder management with direct execution of project tasks as needed
Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Monday.com, Smartsheet, or similar platforms
Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders ranging from individual contributors to executive leadership
Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain structure and momentum across multiple concurrent projects
PMP, CAPM, or Agile/Scrum certification preferred
Insurtech or surplus lines experience preferred
