About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Respond to rental inquiries across phone, email, and digital messaging channels
Answer property questions and move prospects through the application funnel
Schedule, manage, and coordinate property showings
Track leasing interactions and update applicant records in AppFolio
Maintain accurate property vacancy data
Proactively fill vacant properties, targeting a turnaround of 21 days or fewer
Provide timely leasing-status updates to property owners
Guide new tenants through move-in logistics
Deliver positive customer experiences to encourage tenant reviews
Serve as the liaison between prospective tenants, owners, and residents
Support residential leasing for a U.S. property management company managing approximately 300 properties

Requirements

What you’ll need

Native-level spoken and written English communication skills; C1 English level required
Minimum of 1+ year of direct leasing experience, preferably in residential property management
Hands-on operational experience with AppFolio required
Results-oriented sales mindset with strong closing and customer-nurturing instincts
Highly disciplined, consistent, and dependable
Demonstrated job stability and tenure in past roles
Based in South Africa
Available immediately for a full-time commitment during Pacific Standard Time business hours
Reliable home office setup with backup power and internet solutions
Familiarity with ShowingHero or similar showing scheduling software preferred
Background in inside sales, customer service, or real estate administrative support preferred
Resume and 30–90-second English audio or video recording required
Publicly accessible recording link required
Internet speed test screenshot required
