About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Maintain excellent customer service standards and productivity
  • Service clients and internal partners by processing new hires, employee changes, and terminations
  • Maintain the integrity of client and employee databases and ensure compliance
  • Receive and process payroll information
  • Produce client-specific payroll checks, invoices, and standard payroll reports
  • Balance payroll input against worksheets and reports
  • Provide backup documentation to Finance for wires when needed
  • Maintain accurate payroll delivery instructions
  • Attend weekly department training meetings and review procedure manuals
  • Communicate with clients, employees, and team members
  • Consult supervisors and Payroll Trainers on new or different questions
  • Train with the applicable Shared Services, Payroll, or Client Implementation team
  • Assist with data analytics, trends, load balancing, research, and issue resolution
  • Build payroll experience through increasingly complex tasks and projects
  • Coordinate with Finance to ensure funds are received
  • Build and maintain a client load while developing payroll knowledge

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field is preferred
  • One plus years of relevant work experience is required
  • Maintain excellent customer service standards
  • Accurately process payroll information and produce payroll checks, invoices, and reports
  • Maintain data integrity and compliance
  • Attend weekly department training meetings
  • Ability to coordinate with Finance and follow through with clients
  • Ability to research and resolve payroll-related issues
