  • Serve as a strategic partner to Product and Engineering and influence roadmap decisions
  • Own critical external partner relationships at C-suite and executive levels
  • Surface high-value partnership opportunities for the business

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 15+ years of experience in business development, product partnerships, or strategic alliances in technology or closely adjacent industries
  • End-to-end ownership of complex, multi-stakeholder deals from sourcing through launch
  • Experience building and leading high-performing partnerships teams, including managing managers and structuring a function for scale
  • Track record of closing complex, non-standard technology or strategic partnership agreements, including first-of-a-kind deals, with C-suite or executive-level counterparts
  • Experience serving as a strategic partner to Product and Engineering and influencing roadmap and build-buy-partner decisions
  • Strong financial and analytical skills, including business case development to evaluate partnership economics and communicate ROI to senior leadership
  • Ability to operate without a roadmap and bring clarity and direction to a team
  • Experience with software and/or hardware partnerships across retail, grocery, in-store technology, e-commerce, loyalty, POS, or adjacent ecosystems (preferred)
  • Experience with international product partnerships, particularly in EMEA markets (preferred)
  • Background in management consulting, investment banking, or corporate development (preferred)
  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree (preferred)
