About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and gain executive alignment of the Canada marketing strategy
  • Execute the marketing strategy as the single DRI with cross-functional teams and agencies
  • Own Canada brand partnerships and agency relationships
  • Support existing partnerships and recommend new opportunities
  • Provide consumer, category, and competitive insights to inform Canadian brand and business growth
  • Own the Canadian influencer program and produce local content in partnership with media and agency teams
  • Ensure campaigns and content for Canadian consumers are accurate, culturally relevant, and on brand
  • Apply localization expertise across owned and paid content
  • Track the Canada monthly marketing budget accurately and on time
  • Report to the Director, Consumer Growth & Partnerships Marketing

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in brand marketing and integrated campaign marketing
  • Preferably experience within a US-based consumer tech company navigating Canada as a distinct market
  • Ability to develop marketing strategy and translate business goals into compelling brand narratives and breakthrough campaigns
  • Deep fluency in brand and campaign marketing mechanics, including strategic and creative briefs, channel and agency partnerships, execution, and measurement
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable presenting and defending strategy to VP and C-suite stakeholders
  • Deep understanding of Canadian culture and market nuance, including regional differences and experience reaching consumers in Quebec
  • Ability to build consensus and lead diverse cross-functional teams
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Familiarity with Québécois culture and bilingual English/French are preferred
