About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead a large-scale embedded partnership within the industrial and engineering sector
- Own delivery, client relationships, and commercial growth
- Manage a team of TA Leads and TA Partners
- Mobilise embedded teams and build sustainable direct hiring models
- Own SLAs, KPIs, governance, and client escalations
- Lead high-volume blue-collar hiring through assessment centres, open days, talent pipelines, and proactive outreach
- Support technical engineering and strategic hiring
- Collaborate with Centres of Excellence, technology, and sourcing teams to leverage an AI-powered recruitment stack
- Own talent strategy aligned with client growth plans
- Build and strengthen local employer brands
- Design open days, school partnerships, apprenticeships, and early careers programmes
- Run Quarterly Performance Reviews and present data-driven insights to senior stakeholders
- Identify account growth opportunities
- Lead, coach, and develop a multi-site team
- Conduct performance reviews and development plans
- Participate in the Partnership Director group, sharing best practices and coaching across the business
Requirements
What you’ll need- Senior TA leadership in high-volume manufacturing recruitment, ideally in automotive, aerospace, defence, heavy engineering or another advanced manufacturing environment
- Experience hiring both blue-collar and white-collar populations, from production operatives to technical engineers
- Proven leadership of teams across multiple sites and regions
- Experience running executive search-style outreach for technical and specialist roles
- Credibility in the boardroom combined with genuine comfort on the factory floor
- Strong commercial awareness and a track record of growing accounts
- Data-driven approach to governance, SLAs, KPIs and performance reviews
- Willingness to travel regularly to sites across the UK, including some flights
- Desirable: greenfield or new-site recruitment experience, including building an employer brand in a new market
- Desirable: experience moving hiring away from temp agencies or MSPs
- Desirable: early careers, apprenticeship or community attraction experience
- Desirable: curiosity about AI and recruitment efficiency
- Shorter notice periods are a plus
