About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Coordinate, manage, test, and develop ancillary applications and provide secondary support for the College's Enterprise Applications
  • Gather requirements, manage projects, coordinate testing, and validate data with IT Business Analysts and Enterprise Applications developers
  • Recommend and support business process needs and improvements for the College's Functional Areas
  • Assist in managing Workday-related projects and enhancement requests
  • Support configuration of Workday business processes, integrations, condition rules, and validation criteria
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex development, testing, and production issues
  • Create and maintain documentation for requirements, business processes, integrations, procedures, and system configuration
  • Collect, analyze, and translate business requirements into user stories, workflows, process logic, process maps, wireframes, specifications, and acceptance criteria
  • Develop project plans, monitor deliverables and performance, and ensure timely project completion
  • Ensure solutions meet business needs and requirements
  • Follow information security policies and procedures and consult information security staff on best practices
  • Monitor the Freshservice ticketing queue daily, triage and troubleshoot issues, conduct research, and resolve issues before escalation when appropriate
  • Engage internal stakeholders to determine application strategy and vision
  • Serve as liaison between stakeholders and users and act as a subject matter expert
  • Maintain stakeholder relationships and support campus functional needs
  • Participate in College events such as Commencement and Homecoming and support community activities
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Report to the Director of Enterprise Applications and work under general supervision
  • No supervisory responsibilities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of related experience
  • Ability to use Excel and other tools to manipulate data
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, MS Project, and LucidChart
  • Strong communication and writing skills for technical and non-technical audiences
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities and meet negotiated timelines with high-quality deliverables
  • Ability to attend and support key College events and participate in community activities
  • Cover letter required
  • Preferred: Experience in higher education
  • Preferred: Workday experience
