About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Monitor CI/CD pipeline runs and investigate basic failures
- Escalate recurring or complex pipeline issues to senior DevOps team members
- Maintain build and deployment documentation, including runbooks, setup steps, and troubleshooting notes
- Assist with access requests, environment checks, release support activities, and tool configuration updates
- Support the design, maintenance, and operation of CI/CD pipelines used to build, package, test, and deploy products
- Help automate repetitive processes and support software release activities
- Contribute to continuous improvement across development teams
- Support development, test, integration, and production environments under senior team guidance
Requirements
What you’ll need- Enrolled in a 4-year undergraduate Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or relevant engineering program
- Clear and effective communication with diverse teams
- Active listening, empathy, and understanding
- Proactive approach to identifying and solving problems
- Adaptability to changing circumstances and feedback
- Foundational understanding of DevOps and configuration management concepts
- Basic scripting experience, including exposure to Python, Ant, Gradle, Maven, or similar technologies
- Exposure to Git and source control
- Exposure to GitHub, BitBucket, GitLab, or Google Cloud Source Repositories
- Familiarity with Jenkins, Ansible, or GitLab
- Familiarity with functional programming and object-oriented programming concepts
- Familiarity with Linux and Windows operating systems and basic command-line usage
- Exposure to Docker containers
- Coursework, internship, co-op, or professional exposure to CI/CD pipelines, tools, and application infrastructure deployed on premises or in the cloud
- Exposure to software configuration management environments, branching strategies, and source control workflows
- Ability to support development, test, integration, and production environments under guidance
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without current or future employer-based visa sponsorship
