About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support Insulet’s category managers and specialists in the Indirect Procurement Group
  • Work with cross-functional teams from Procurement, IT, HR, Facilities, R&D, G&A and Manufacturing
  • Work with suppliers in relevant categories
  • Support purchasing across all categories
  • Support supplier management
  • Collect procurement spend data
  • Support cost reduction initiatives
  • Participate in process improvement projects
  • Complete other assigned tasks and projects
  • Learn on the job about the functionality of Insulet’s medical devices

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Candidates for a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain or Engineering
  • Previous Co-op experience or internship preferred
  • ERP systems and manufacturing processes experience desirable
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Outstanding customer service
  • Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint required
  • Minimum GPA of 3.5
  • Must have authorization to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship needs
  • Desire to learn about and work in an innovative, fast-paced medical device environment
