Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the evolution of the Digital Platform Engineering organization into an AI-native engineering powerhouse
Direct architecture and platform strategy for digital experiences
Architect platforms powering web engagement, Loyalty and retention systems, and CRM integrations
Modernize cloud-native platforms and integrations, including gateways for routing, rate-limiting, and securing digital traffic
Drive scalable multi-agent architectures for complex customer journeys
Establish automated policy-as-code practices for latency, security, privacy, and brand safety
Build context and harness engineering connecting CRM, Loyalty, and web engagement data to LLMs
Engineer conversational commerce, intelligent product discovery, and dynamic personalization
Partner with digital product management to improve E-commerce, Loyalty, and CRM KPIs
Lead adoption of AI-assisted coding, automated workflows, and AI-driven testing
Measure engineering effectiveness using DORA metrics, DevEx indicators, and operational transparency
Establish governed, self-service developer portals and golden paths
Partner with Enterprise AI & Data to apply foundational services to customer experiences
Build high-performing teams and establish shared APIs, SLAs, and operating rhythms

Requirements

What you’ll need

10+ years of progressive technology leadership experience
5+ years managing teams focused on platform engineering, SDLC automation, and full-stack software development
Proven track record of enterprise-scale technology transformations
Experience partnering with centralized Data or AI organizations in a matrixed environment
Deep expertise in enterprise API management platforms, LLM gateways, internal developer portals, and cloud-native infrastructure
Strong architectural understanding of AI harness design, multi-agentic system architectures, enterprise context engineering, and RAG patterns
Fluency with agentic-SDLC implementations, policy-as-code frameworks, CI/CD orchestration, and enterprise observability platforms
Experience with distributed systems, global API management, and high-traffic E-commerce architectures
Exceptional executive communication skills
Product-engineering mindset and focus on developer experience
