About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support monthly close and internal reporting by preparing journal entries and account reconciliations for accrued sales and marketing expenses, debt, and prepaids
Assist in ensuring financial statements and related accounting processes comply with U.S. GAAP
Analyze monthly and quarterly fluctuations in assigned accounts
Assist with internal controls associated with areas of responsibility
Develop and implement accounting procedures and recommend changes
Support the General Accounting group with operational analysis for recurring transactions and monthly account reconciliation
Support accounting for new business initiatives
Assist with projects and accounting matters and drive value within the business
Perform other duties as required

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting; MSA / MBA a plus
3-4 years of public accounting and/or corporate experience at SEC registered entities
Proficiency with MS Windows and MS Office Software, especially Excel
Excellent communication and analytical skills
Deadline oriented with attention to detail
Excellent organizational skills
Ability to handle multiple projects
Team player and collaborative
Experience with SAP a plus
