About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Drive Insulet’s global pricing vision, strategy, governance, insights, and operational execution across all markets for current and pipeline assets
  • Lead the global pricing capability and team, reporting to the VP of Global HEMA
  • Design globally led payer and pricing research
  • Serve as senior subject-matter expert and internal consultancy resource on pricing research, affordability-driven pricing and access programs, and pricing input for cross-functional projects
  • Co-drive global pricing and access principles across markets
  • Develop value-based and sustainable global pricing and contracting strategies
  • Explore innovative funding, contracting, and pricing arrangements across the product lifecycle
  • Assess external developments in pricing regulation, healthcare financing, and cost containment and recommend responses
  • Oversee updates to global pricing governance and related processes and resources
  • Develop decision-support tools and processes, including pricing databases and pricing business case review templates
  • Coordinate pricing analytics, scenario modeling, performance tracking, dashboards, and reports across global markets
  • Lead and coach preparation and review of submissions to the Global Pricing Council
  • Serve as Secretary of the Global Pricing Council and manage its preparation, agenda, and content
  • Lead, coach, and grow the global pricing team and increase pricing acumen across the access community and enterprise
  • Travel domestically/internationally, estimated at 20%

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in financial/business or related discipline, and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of 15 years of hands-on experience in a pricing and/or financial-focused role in the pharma/biotech/medtech industry or consultancy
  • At least 6 years’ experience in pharmaceutical pricing
  • Proven track record in designing qualitative and quantitative pricing research
  • Sound knowledge of pricing research techniques, including conjoint, payer insights, and price corridor validation
  • Prior leadership experience in strategic and operational pricing of pharmaceutical/medical technology products
  • Demonstrated track record and knowledge of pharma benefit pricing-related processes, legislation, metrics and requirements in the US and across major ex-US payer archetypes
  • Understanding of global strategic and operational pricing-related deliverables and processes
  • Familiarity with pricing systems, price master data, and advanced analytics tools
  • Proficiency in financial analysis
  • Knowledge of financial modeling/forecasting highly recommended
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Experience with tender/IRP markets and designing or implementing performance/outcomes-based contracting preferred
  • Pricing-related experience in diabetes or cardiovascular diseases preferred
  • Track record of leading high-performing global teams preferred
  • Experience in pricing policy shaping and external stakeholder engagement preferred
  • Master’s degree preferred
  • Willingness to travel domestically/internationally, estimated at 20%
