About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as strategic talent leader for Global Manufacturing Operations, including Supply Chain and Procurement
- Partner with business leaders to align hiring strategies with operational goals
- Lead a team of recruiters sourcing talent for manufacturing engineering, plant operations, supply chain logistics, and procurement roles
- Forecast hiring needs aligned with production schedules and global expansion plans
- Maintain a recruiting capacity model for factory ramp-ups, supply chain shifts, and procurement cycles
- Develop sourcing strategies for plant operations, automation, quality, materials management, and supplier development
- Use competitive intelligence and labor market data to inform hiring decisions
- Conduct proactive talent mapping and build pipelines for critical manufacturing roles and emerging technologies
- Ensure recruiting processes meet manufacturing hiring compliance standards
- Monitor ATS metrics and KPIs to optimize recruiter performance and hiring velocity
- Coach and mentor recruiters and foster accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence
- Champion inclusive hiring practices and embed DEI goals into workforce planning
- Promote the company as an employer of choice through targeted campaigns, job fairs, and technical-school and trade-organization partnerships
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred; equivalent experience in talent acquisition or HR leadership will be considered
- Minimum of 10 years of full-cycle recruitment experience
- Proven track record hiring across manufacturing, supply chain, operations, and procurement functions
- Experience leading and managing recruitment teams
- Experience supporting high-volume manufacturing environments, global supply chain teams, and strategic procurement initiatives
- Knowledge of federal and state employment laws and hiring practices
- Advanced sourcing capabilities, including Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, and alternative search techniques
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and internet recruiting tools
- Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple requisitions and projects simultaneously
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Position requires on-site work at Insulet
- Equivalent experience may be considered in place of the preferred bachelor’s degree
