Key responsibilities & impact

Work closely with stakeholders, product owners, and agile team members to understand business requirements
Analyze and design quality technical solutions
Build defined software features
Write tests
Fully participate in the agile process and system development life cycle
Assist with analysis and design recommendations
Participate in coding, testing, and implementation efforts
Convert user stories into programmable solutions
Document and communicate project/task progress with the agile team
Complete tasks in a timely manner

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, degree from a Technical school or equivalent work experience
On-the-job training is also recognized
1–3 years of related experience
Work experience in Property Casualty or Specialty Insurance is a plus
Ability to work on a hybrid schedule from the Canton, MA; Boston, MA; Farmington, CT; or Raleigh, NC offices
Ability to understand business requirements and convert user stories into programmable solutions
Knowledge of coding, testing, implementation, and the software development life cycle
Ability to work in an agile environment and follow company standards, policies, and procedures
