Implement tools and automations to facilitate product squads' evolution
Review software development practices, provide feedback, and identify opportunities
Contribute to the organization's technological and transformation roadmap
Provide training on new tools and practices from Intact and the industry
Keep current with relevant technological developments
Demystify complex concepts and break complicated solutions into approachable steps
Provide mentorship and serve as a close contact point to technical leaders
Support product squads through the tech modernization and evolution initiative
Advise product squads and provide training and support
Select and build tools and platforms for product squads
Contribute to custom applications and products across on-premises and cloud-hosted environments

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor of Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
7+ years of industry experience
Successful track record in a similar technical leadership role
Passion for technology, improving things, and expanding technical knowledge
Interest in current industry trends and advances
Vision of evolving software engineering practices and landscape
Desire to lead change and challenge the status quo
Must be eligible to work in Canada
No Canadian work experience required
For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required to interact regularly with English-speaking colleagues across Canada
Experience with a similar technology stack and transferable skills accepted
