About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Guide the vision, roadmap, and delivery of DealCloud Activator and DealCloud for Legal vertical applications
- Lead a team working with internal stakeholders and legal clients to enhance DealCloud for lawyers and law firms
- Meet regularly with stakeholders to assess and prioritize challenges
- Own the full product development lifecycle for solutions driven into the product
- Serve as an internal subject matter expert and evangelize best practices
- Drive strategy for enhancements to DealCloud Activator, including signals and recommendations for AI engines
- Conduct discovery sessions with clients and prospects to identify opportunities for deeper analysis and engagement
- Own the roadmap for dedicated site areas and communicate plans to management
- Work with engineering to manage the product backlog, lead story times, develop features, and deliver quarterly releases
- Incorporate AI and machine learning technologies into the solution
- Collaborate with sales, product marketing, and go-to-market teams on field and customer engagement plans, including early adopter programs
- Communicate and influence executives regarding product strategy and business needs
- Make build-versus-buy-versus-integrate decisions focused on client and stakeholder outcomes
Requirements
What you’ll need- 10-15 years of experience working on or with B2B cloud-based SaaS enterprise solutions used by law firms and lawyers
- Significant experience in product management, building and executing product roadmaps
- Experience managing and/or developing software products for business development or CRM-like products
- Experience managing and/or developing products directly relevant to Legal, Accounting, Consulting, Financial Services and Real Asset industries
- Experience developing and shipping AI products
- Proven ability to collaborate, build consensus, and influence others across diverse backgrounds, organizational levels, and personalities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable speaking in front of an audience
- Technical aptitude to work effectively with engineering at the API and SDK level
- Ability to articulate technical features in terms of business risk and value through comprehensive story writing and impactful presentations
- Strong analytical skills and a data-driven mindset and background
- Comfortable with some travel
- Bachelor’s degree in an Analytical field; MBA ideally
