About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Coordinate day-to-day radiology bookings across modalities and sites
  • Supervise the Booking Centre team, providing leadership, direction, and support
  • Monitor and manage call KPIs, including volumes, wait times, abandonment rates, and productivity
  • Monitor booking quality, workflow adherence, and service standards
  • Prepare, review, and analyse Booking Centre performance reports
  • Support recruitment activities, including shortlisting, interviewing, and onboarding
  • Lead and coordinate training for booking staff, including new starters and refresher training
  • Act as an escalation point for complex bookings and patient or referrer issues
  • Support continuous improvement and standardisation across booking workflows

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proven experience in radiology bookings, patient access, or medical scheduling
  • Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience in a bookings or call-centre environment
  • Experience working with call KPIs such as average wait time, call abandonment, and productivity measures
  • Understanding of radiology modalities, referrals, and booking requirements
  • Experience with reporting, performance monitoring, and analysis
  • Confidence coaching, training, and supporting staff performance
  • Excellent communication and team engagement skills
  • Organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Comfortable working with RIS/PACS, booking systems, and phone platforms
  • CV and cover letter required
