About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assess and reassess patients
- Develop patient care plans
- Implement appropriate patient care interventions
- Evaluate patient care interventions
- Supervise and coordinate licensed and non-licensed personnel in providing assigned patient care
- Provide guidance and mentorship to non-licensed personnel and students as appropriate
- Manage delivery and documentation of patient care
- Report to the appropriate manager, director, or vice president
- Follow standard precautions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Oklahoma or current multistate license from a Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) member state
- BLS issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association within 30 days of hire; for hospice, current CPR issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association required in lieu of BLS
- Other certifications and competencies required based on service line skill
- Valid driver's license in the state where employed
- Available and dependable transportation
- Ability to drive an automobile
- Proof of current automobile liability insurance
- CHPN preferred for hospice
- Exposure to infections and communicable diseases, blood and body fluids, electrical equipment, and chemicals; must follow standard precautions
