About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Maintain timely records of materials in inventory and kit orders
  • Monitor and maintain current inventory levels
  • Process orders as required
  • Track orders and investigate problems
  • Monitor and initiate action to replenish stock
  • Perform physical inventory counts and reconcile actual stock counts to computer-generated reports
  • Process and document returns according to established procedures
  • Perform routine clerical duties and data entry
  • Assist in resolving issues
  • May lead, guide, and train employees, interns, and/or volunteers performing related work
  • May participate in volunteer recruitment as appropriate
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
  • Work the 5:00am–1:30pm schedule

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or GED
  • At least 1 year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified
  • Knowledge of supplies, equipment, and/or services ordering and inventory control
  • Ability to reconcile stock counts to report data
  • Database management skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems
  • Ability to prepare routine administrative paperwork
  • Ability to receive, stock, and/or deliver goods
  • Clerical, word processing, and/or office skills
  • Knowledge of company invoicing procedures
  • Ability to lift and/or move items over 75 pounds
  • Required vision abilities: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
  • Employment contingent upon passing a background check and drug screen
