About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead internal strategic projects from scoping through completion
Identify manual and repetitive business processes and automate them using Claude, n8n, Make, and similar tools
Run the executive operating system, including goals tracking, leadership offsite preparation, and L10 meetings
Execute monthly business reporting and analysis
Support hiring and onboarding alongside the people team
Handle confidential matters with discretion
Work directly with the CEO and collaborate daily with finance, billing, operations, service, and people leaders
Contribute to portfolio reporting within Lyra Technology Group
Take ownership of urgent operational issues and resolve them directly

Requirements

What you’ll need

Builds with Claude and tools like n8n or Make every week, and has working automations and dashboards to show
Comfortable in Excel and with finance data; can build a model and explain it
Moves fast, prioritizes ruthlessly, and finishes what they start
Professional, polished and direct, with an easy way with executive audiences
Highly organized and detail oriented; can manage many initiatives at once
Wants to run a business one day and thinks like an owner
Bachelor's Degree ideally
2-5 years of experience in Consulting, PE/Portfolio Operations, Business Operations, or a related field ideally
Background in consulting, private equity or portfolio operations preferred
Experience in IT services, MSP or SaaS environments preferred
Expected to work hybrid, ideally located in San Diego or San Francisco Bay Area
Dedicated working environment/home office with stable internet connection
Availability from 8am-5pm Pacific Time, Monday through Friday excluding holidays
