About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide Finance and Program Teams with support for budget preparation, financial reporting, and staff training
- Manage financial data for budgeting and reporting functions for the Thailand Country Program
- Manage grant and operating budget preparation and treasury management
- Coordinate with teams to obtain and analyze information for budgets, spending plans, forecasts, project transactions, and financial reporting
- Prepare, analyze, revise, and maintain country office operating budget data
- Gather and analyze information for grant budget proposals and ensure compliance with donor requirements
- Work with program staff on grant budgets for proposals and realignments
- Consolidate and update grant pipeline information monthly and prepare budget revisions
- Prepare monthly Budget versus Actual reports, analyze spending plans, and recommend budget realignments
- Draft donor financial reports and fund requests and maintain reporting schedules
- Prepare statutory and regulatory reports for relevant government ministries
- Prepare ad-hoc donor finance reports
- Prepare monthly field expense reports
- Draft and distribute timesheet planning worksheets
- Develop templates for data compilation and consolidation
- Train program and operational staff on budget and reporting templates
- Maintain complete grants financial documentation in the centralized filing system
- Assist with internal and external audits
- Review payment submissions for policy, donor-regulation, coding, calculation, and documentation compliance
- Upload and review changes and transactions in Integra, Microsoft Dynamics 365, and related ledgers
- Maintain backup and retention procedures for Integra master files
- Review monthly financial data and spreadsheets, identify discrepancies, and provide corrective feedback
- Assist with cost allocation and data mapping
- Perform other duties as requested
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce or Finance, Computer Sciences, or Statistics
- Minimum of three (3) years of data management and analysis, with understanding of finance and accounting information
- Experience in budgeting and computerized systems and financial-related software, including ERP, spreadsheets, and accounting packages
- Ability to function comfortably in a loosely structured but complex work environment and prioritize multiple tasks
- Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal English
- Comfortable making decisions
- Good organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills
- Experience in data analytics; ability to perform Power Query and BI, produce dashboards, and manage big data
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, cross-group collaboration, compliance, and a proactive and innovative approach
- Strategic thinking with problem-solving, decision-making, and follow-up skills
- Excellent multitasking, organization, and hands-on experience with high achievement
- Self-starter with drive and initiative; able to work as part of a team with a positive attitude and open-mindedness
- Good negotiation skills

- Very strong proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Some experience with Enterprise Resource Planning systems
