About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead financial management, forecasting, reporting, compliance, and overall financial performance for the TRICARE Overseas Program
- Serve as the primary finance business partner to program operations across multiple countries, legal entities, currencies, and time zones
- Develop actionable recommendations supporting program performance, profitability, and EBITDA
- Build partnerships with SGS leadership and TRICARE medical and operations leadership
- Manage, mentor, and develop a geographically dispersed team of financial analysts
- Partner with the Controller and Accounting team to ensure general ledger accuracy and improve financial close and reporting processes
- Track, analyze, and report TRICARE Overseas Program P&L activity across legal entities and sub-locations
- Lead development and maintenance of program Estimates at Completion (EACs)
- Support accruals, account balance analysis, cost-center coding, and resolution of program accounting matters
- Provide executive-level analysis and commentary on profitability, forecasts, cost trends, headcount, balance sheet activity, capital expenditures, working capital, and cash flow
- Partner on bid and proposal activities, contract-modification pricing, negotiations, cost or pricing data submissions, DCAA audits, and government compliance reviews
- Support mobilization of new contract awards and modifications
- Implement and communicate FAR- and CAS-compliant processes, documentation, and financial reporting
- Support proposal development and other strategic initiatives
Requirements
What you’ll need- 8+ years of progressive experience in Program Finance, Program Controls, Business Management, FP&A, or government contract finance within the U.S. aerospace and defense industry
- Experience supporting large, complex U.S. Government contracts with annual revenue exceeding $50 million and operations across multiple locations, legal entities, currencies, or geographic regions is strongly preferred
- Demonstrated experience managing the financial performance of U.S. Government contracts including EAC development, forecasting, variance analysis, implementing cost controls, and risk and opportunity management
- Experience partnering with corporate Treasury teams on foreign bank account management and foreign exchange hedging is preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance, if required
- CPA, MBA, or related advanced degree is desired
- Demonstrated success in advanced financial modeling and analysis including annual budget, rolling forecast, capital budgeting, and long-term strategic planning
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with data-intensive financial analysis
- Experience supporting multiple U.S. Government contract types, including Firm-Fixed-Price, Cost-Reimbursement, and Time-and-Materials arrangements
- Working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), and U.S. Government cost accounting requirements
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- English language requirement

- Ability to work independently, find creative solutions, manage large amounts of data, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities
