Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead and manage the daily operations of the clinic
  • Assess, diagnose, and treat patients at an advanced practice level
  • Prescribe medications within regulatory guidelines
  • Manage rehabilitation, therapy, and return-to-work programs in collaboration with ES&H leadership
  • Ensure compliance through quarterly internal audits and accurate medical record management
  • Manage staff performance appraisals and disciplinary matters
  • Foster continuous learning and professional development
  • Oversee pharmacy security, medication control, and operating procedures
  • Implement jobsite health plans, preventative medicine initiatives, and mental health programs
  • Monitor and report patient trends, diagnoses, staffing changes, and well-being activities
  • Lead meetings, mentor staff, and build healthcare partnerships
  • Manage occupational health case management and continuous improvement through audits and reporting

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum 3 years of emergency/urgent care experience
  • Occupational medicine experience
  • Previous experience working with Workers Compensation, DOT, and OSHA Regulated Exams desirable
  • Current Texas Nurse Practitioner license in good standing
  • ACLS
  • BLS
  • DEA License
  • Excellent written and oral English
  • Knowledge of medical practice and occupational health
  • Knowledge of medical policies, regulations, and procedures
  • Skill in developing and maintaining records, writing reports, and responding to correspondence
  • Skill in developing and maintaining medical quality assurance and quality control standards
  • Ability to react calmly, objectively, and effectively in emergency situations
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data to evaluate clinical performance
  • Ability to reliably commute to the worksite for scheduled shifts
