About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage a book of business in an assigned territory through renewal retention and portfolio growth
- Strategically expand the new customer base through prospecting, value articulation, and cold calling
- Consult with clients on web-based marketing strategies and solutions that meet business needs and improve business generation
- Create and maintain a sales pipeline in Salesforce.com, including activity, closing, project forecast, close ratios, and market intelligence
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of products, services, and customer business issues and needs
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders on existing and new clients to execute strategy and identify and resolve client concerns
- Establish and maintain current and potential client relationships
- Act as the primary internal point of contact for assigned accounts
- Establish strong working relationships with internal and external partners and stakeholders
- Retain and grow existing FindLaw customers and drive new business within the legal community
Requirements
What you’ll need- 4-year college degree or equivalent experience
- Experience in sales/account management in a professional B2B environment
- Proven track record of revenue retention, sales success, fast growth, and consistently achieving performance at 100%+
- Proven track record of developing new customer accounts through heavy prospecting, cold calling, appointment setting, and closing
- Previous sales experience in digital marketing and/or the legal industry is a plus
- Working knowledge of sales processes, methods, and techniques
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to interpret marketplace needs and translate them into products and/or services
- Excellent communication and persuasion skills
- Ability to make a conceptual product tangible to potential customers
- Ability to develop and deliver effective presentations
- Proven organization and time management skills
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to travel for annual sales trainings
