About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Work on diverse valuation engagements in Ireland and across Europe
  • Perform valuation analyses using a variety of valuation methodologies
  • Collaborate with Deal Advisory, Debt Advisory, Transactions Advisory, Restructuring and international Valuations colleagues
  • Contribute to client reports and build client-facing exposure
  • Build technical and commercial expertise through interaction with clients and Ireland leadership
  • Participate in client-facing events supporting business growth
  • Conduct research on industries, comparable companies and transactions
  • Develop and maintain financial models and perform analysis supporting valuations
  • Interpret financial statements and financial data to produce conclusions and recommendations
  • Communicate valuation analysis and results to clients and internal teams
  • Appraise business plans and assess risk and reward
  • Attend site visits and meet management teams
  • Prepare first-draft valuations and present internally
  • Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines and client expectations
  • Support business development, proposals and client relationship initiatives
  • Collaborate on new approaches and improvement strategies

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Qualified ACA/CFA (or equivalent) with relevant valuations experience
  • Manager level candidates expected to demonstrate a track record of taking responsibility for valuation assignments and managing client relationships
  • Strong interest in Deals, M&A and valuation advisory
  • Experience with valuation methodologies and financial modelling
  • Well-developed analytical and quantitative skills, with ability to interpret complex financial data
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on client service
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Time management skills, with ability to prioritise competing project deadlines
