About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Deliver in-person, instructor-led training for clients at training centers and client locations
  • Travel frequently, typically departing weekly for Sunday-through-Thursday/Friday assignments
  • Deliver training assignments that may require being away from home for 3–6 days or longer
  • Prepare for programs through self-study of training materials
  • Master new content to earn additional instructional sign-offs
  • Work flexible hours and days according to training assignments and delivery schedules
  • Communicate with clients to confirm program details and address questions or concerns
  • Ensure clarity before and during training delivery
  • Coordinate with the sales team and other instructors for successful program execution
  • Serve as a subject matter expert, mentor, and company ambassador
  • Leverage Interplay technology, including 3D simulations, to maximize learning impact

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working in a construction and/or industrial environment
  • 5 years of experience directly conducting, managing, or planning rigging, crane, or lift-planning activities
  • Experience with rigging loads with cranes, inspecting rigging, and signaling
  • Experience operating, inspecting, and/or maintaining cranes
  • Experience with lift planning, directing lifts, lift plan review, and safety/risk assessments of lifting activities
  • Willingness and ability to meet frequent travel requirements, including weekly air travel and 3–6 day assignments
  • Must be based within 2 hours of an international airport
  • Possess or be able to obtain and maintain a travel passport
  • Proficient in proactive travel planning, client communication, and precise documentation
  • Skilled in self-directed learning and delivering clear, engaging presentations
  • Strong administrative accuracy and timely completion of paperwork
  • Commitment to maintaining technical skills, instructional methods, and industry best practices
  • Authorized to work in the United States for any employer without stipulations
  • Must be a resident of the United States
  • Must complete a background check, drug and alcohol test, I-9 Form, and E-Verify process
  • Preferably leadership-role and training experience
