About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the full-cycle recruiting process from requisition through offer and onboarding
- Develop and execute candidate sourcing strategies using job boards, social media, networking, referrals, professional organizations, schools, and other resources
- Proactively source passive candidates and build talent pipelines for hard-to-fill, critical, and recurring positions
- Create and post job advertisements across Indeed, the company careers page, social media, and other recruiting platforms
- Build relationships with staffing agencies, universities, trade schools, technical training programs, community organizations, and other talent partners
- Participate in job fairs, hiring events, community outreach, and employer branding activities
- Review resumes and applications and conduct phone screens and initial interviews
- Coordinate onsite and virtual interviews with hiring managers and interview teams
- Partner with hiring managers on candidate qualifications, interview feedback, and next steps
- Maintain communication with candidates throughout the recruiting process
- Facilitate compensation discussions, offer preparation, and offer extensions
- Coordinate background checks, drug screens, and other pre-employment screenings
- Maintain accurate candidate and requisition information in the ATS and HRIS
- Use recruiting and HR technology to manage pipelines, schedule interviews, document feedback, and generate reports
- Ensure recruiting documentation complies with company policies and employment regulations
- Coordinate the transition from candidate selection through new-hire onboarding
- Identify improvements to recruiting processes, candidate communication, interviews, and onboarding
- Support employer branding and talent pipeline initiatives
- Participate in recruiting and HR projects as needed
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong recruiting and candidate sourcing skills across multiple channels
- Excellent interviewing and candidate assessment skills
- Ability to manage multiple open requisitions and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong relationship-building skills and ability to partner with hiring managers
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Ability to learn and use recruiting technology, ATS, and HRIS systems
- Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and HRIS required
- ADP Workforce Now experience highly preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent education and experience considered
- 2–3 years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience in a manufacturing high-volume environment
- Experience recruiting for production, skilled trades, engineering, technical, or other hard-to-fill positions is a plus
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with the broader HR team
