About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, plan, and execute application deployment strategies and activities
- Deploy, configure, and manage applications across development, testing, staging, and production environments
- Develop and maintain deployment scripts and automation tools
- Design, build, and maintain Terraform infrastructure as code, including reusable modules and remote state management
- Monitor and troubleshoot deployment issues with development and operations teams
- Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated application deployments
- Test and verify deployments for accuracy, functionality, and performance
- Ensure compliance with deployment and release management policies and best practices
- Document deployment processes, configurations, and troubleshooting guides
- Stay current with application deployment, DevOps, and infrastructure automation trends
- Design, implement, and improve application deployment processes and technologies
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members
- Conduct business according to Intradiem policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in application deployment, release management, or related roles
- Strong knowledge of application deployment methodologies, tools, and best practices
- Extensive experience with scripting and deployment automation in a continuous integration environment
- Working knowledge of Terraform, including writing and maintaining modules, managing state, and integrating Terraform runs into CI/CD pipelines
- In-depth understanding of continuous integration practices and cross-platform integration challenges
- Proficiency in system-level and integration-level testing, with a strong background in quality assurance
- Experience specifying and implementing testing and production environment infrastructure
- Demonstrated deployment experience in hosted environments
- Strong Windows and Linux skills, including understanding of Linux servers and troubleshooting
- RHCSA and RHCE
- Ability and desire to quickly learn new technologies and apply new skills
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Legal right to work in the country where the role is based; identity and employment eligibility verification required during onboarding
