About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Partner with the San Francisco team in a 24+ month developmental role
  • Gain knowledge across technical, clinical, and sales aspects of Intuitive’s business
  • Assist sales representatives with surgeon trainings, hospital robotic development, and overall territory management
  • Guide technical in-services for customers, including operating room staff and surgeons
  • Sell the benefits of advanced technology to existing robotic users and contribute to team quotas
  • Gain experience in goal setting, territory mapping, and quota attainment preparation
  • Manage administrative tasks, including sales/procedure reporting, sales activity outcomes, and expense report submission

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum 1-year leadership (military) experience or 1 year of outside sales experience required
  • Ability to travel up to 25%
  • Ability to work nights and weekends as needed
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Proven record of success
  • Ambition and exceptional work ethic
  • Ability to excel in a high-energy, fast-paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and persuasive communication skills
  • Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Candidates must live within or be willing to relocate to the San Francisco Bay Area
  • May be required to show current proof of vaccination against certain diseases, including COVID-19
