About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drive growth of the da Vinci Surgical System across key healthcare accounts, primarily Ambulatory Surgery Centers
- Partner with ASC leadership, health systems, IDNs, GPOs, and investor-owned healthcare organizations
- Expand robotic surgery adoption and increase procedure utilization
- Strengthen strategic customer relationships
- Serve as the primary corporate contact for designated accounts
- Lead contract negotiations and develop growth strategies
- Collaborate with regional sales leadership to accelerate da Vinci system placement and utilization in outpatient settings
- Serve as the primary point of contact for ASC organizations, IDNs, GPOs, and investor-owned healthcare groups
- Develop and execute strategic account plans focused on ASC growth and robotic surgery adoption
- Drive system sales and procedure utilization within existing and new customer accounts
- Build relationships with executives, administrators, physicians, and surgeon champions
- Lead corporate-level sales discussions
- Partner with regional da Vinci Sales Managers to identify and execute growth opportunities
- Deliver customer presentations, business reviews, and product demonstrations
- Participate in forecasting, sales planning, and national sales initiatives
- Manage customer relationships and territory expenses within budget
- Travel extensively to support customer and business needs
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree required
- 5+ years of capital medical equipment or medical device sales experience
- Proven ability to build relationships and influence healthcare decision-makers
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to work in hospital and ASC environments as needed
- Experience selling into or supporting Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASCs)
- Knowledge of ASC business models and outpatient procedural trends
- National Account, IDN, or GPO experience
- Capital equipment sales and/or sales management experience
- Knowledge of major healthcare systems and investor-owned healthcare groups
- May need to show current proof of vaccination against certain diseases, including COVID-19
- Candidates may be subject to U.S. export-control requirements, including an export license or Technology Control Plan
- Must satisfy applicable employment and export-control requirements
