About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Partner with ServiceNow developers to test new features, enhancements, and custom applications before release
- Design, execute, and document test cases and test plans for ServiceNow configurations, workflows, and integrations
- Identify, log, track, and validate defects through resolution
- Perform regression testing after changes are deployed
- Coordinate UAT across multiple business teams and stakeholders
- Develop UAT scripts and scenarios with business stakeholders and developers
- Schedule and facilitate UAT sessions, gather feedback, and track sign-off approvals
- Communicate testing timelines, status, and outstanding issues
- Evaluate and select automated testing tools and frameworks
- Build, maintain, and expand automated regression test coverage
- Document automation coverage and transition manual regression tests to automated scripts where feasible
- Cross-train on web application QA and UAT processes and provide backup coverage
- Support web application testing during peak periods, absences, or resource gaps
- Triage ServiceNow custom application support tickets and change requests
- Assess issue severity, reproducibility, business impact, and routing
- Support prioritization discussions with developers and business stakeholders
- Maintain documentation of common issues, resolutions, and workarounds
- Report to the Head of Testing & Support
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2+ years of experience in a QA Analyst, Test Analyst, or similar quality assurance role
- Experience testing ServiceNow applications, workflows, or configurations, or strong aptitude to learn quickly
- Familiarity with UAT coordination and working directly with non-technical business stakeholders
- Understanding of QA fundamentals: test case design, defect tracking, regression testing, and test documentation
- Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, and prioritization skills
- Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, ServiceNow ATF, or similar preferred
- Experience testing web applications preferred
- ServiceNow certification(s), such as CSA, preferred
- Experience with ticketing/ITSM tools and change management processes preferred
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies preferred
- Ability to work in a hybrid office setting in Bloomington, MN preferred
- Must maintain confidentiality and follow applicable laws, regulations, company policies, and procedures
