About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Cultivate and maintain executive-level relationships within the U.S. Space Force, U.S. Army, and Test Resource Management Center
- Align IonQ solutions with Army Multi-Domain Operations and USSF Space Warfighting Analysis Center initiatives
- Develop a pipeline of quantum computing, networking, and sensing opportunities
- Prioritize opportunities supporting orbital security, ground force lethality, and T&E infrastructure modernization
- Navigate RDT&E accounts and transition technologies into Programs of Record
- Own the end-to-end sales and capture lifecycle
- Lead technical qualifications and manage formal RFI/RFP responses
- Execute negotiations for OTAs, SBIR/STTR Phase II/III, and TRMC-specific funding streams
- Mobilize Security, Legal, and Engineering teams to support contract pursuits
- Partner with delivery and support teams after award to drive integration, adoption, renewals, and expansion
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of 10 years of experience selling to the Department of the Army, U.S. Space Force, or OSD-level agencies such as TRMC, with quota-carrying responsibilities
- Proven ability to close multi-million dollar platform or infrastructure deals
- Experience selling high-performance computing (HPC), AI/ML infrastructure, or advanced mission systems to the Department of Defense
- Existing relationships within the U.S. Space Force, U.S. Army, and/or TRMC
- Deep understanding of the relevant mission sets
- Ability to navigate the federal procurement process
- Knowledge of security compliance requirements, including FedRAMP and IL levels
- Understanding of National Security hurdles
- Proven ability to move technologies through the T&E phase and into Programs of Record
- U.S. citizenship or national, U.S. permanent resident, or lawful admission into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum, due to export control laws and regulations
