Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and execute product line strategies and initiatives to drive sales, profit growth, and long-term sustainability
  • Lead cross-functional teams and high-performance business teams to deliver objectives
  • Manage product line profit and loss for assigned product lines
  • Develop product line strategies for key items
  • Analyze customers, end users, target markets, competitors, competitive products, pricing positioning, and product improvements
  • Drive development and market introduction of new products, including design fitness for use, target costs, packaging, and product features and benefits
  • Rationalize products to reduce complexity
  • Develop and execute sales-force tools and training to support new product sales and superior customer service
  • Identify sourced and manufactured products needed to profitably grow product lines
  • Drive cost reductions and design improvements for existing products
  • Facilitate new item setup, pricing approvals, quoting, and other sales support
  • Perform related tasks as requested by the supervisor

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field
  • 5+ years of demonstrated success in Product Management or related experience
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to influence at all levels of the organization
  • Passion for product lines being managed and a bias for action
  • Demonstrated experience in driving change and holding others accountable for results
  • Business acumen and experience managing and improving P&L results
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting set deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to work with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Required to travel approximately 25% of the time, including some international travel
