About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the primary talent acquisition business partner for assigned sales organizations and other salaried business functions across IPG North America
  • Develop recruiting strategies aligned with business objectives
  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including intake meetings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer development, and onboarding coordination
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines through proactive sourcing, networking, referrals, industry associations, social media, talent communities, and direct outreach
  • Partner with hiring managers to define candidate profiles, selection criteria, sourcing strategies, and best hiring practices
  • Evaluate resumes and applications, conduct phone and video interviews, assess qualifications, and present candidates to hiring managers
  • Recruit for sales, business development, operations leadership, finance/accounting, human resources, engineering, supply chain, customer service, and other corporate functions
  • Use labor market data, competitive intelligence, and recruiting analytics to advise on talent availability, trends, and hiring strategies
  • Maintain requisitions in the Applicant Tracking System, including job postings, candidate dispositioning, compliance requirements, and reporting
  • Coordinate assessments, interview scheduling, travel arrangements, and hiring-process communications
  • Facilitate offers, including compensation recommendations, offer preparation, negotiations, background screening coordination, and pre-employment requirements
  • Partner with Human Resources, hiring managers, and business leaders on successful onboarding and new-hire transition
  • Monitor recruiting metrics and support process improvements related to quality of hire, time-to-fill, candidate experience, and hiring manager satisfaction
  • Promote IPG’s employer brand through professional interactions, networking, recruiting events, and social media
  • Support compliance with federal, state, provincial, and local employment laws, company policies, and affirmative action/equal employment opportunity requirements
  • Participate in special projects and perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience with demonstrated success hiring sales professionals and other salaried positions
  • Experience recruiting across multiple functions, including sales, leadership, professional, corporate, and technical roles preferred
  • Proven ability to source and engage passive candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, networking, referrals, and other advanced sourcing techniques
  • Strong consultative and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence hiring decisions and partner effectively with business leaders
  • Knowledge of employment laws, recruiting best practices, candidate assessment methodologies, and selection processes
  • Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), HRIS platforms, recruitment analytics, and sourcing tools
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple requisitions and competing priorities simultaneously
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to delivering a high-quality candidate and hiring manager experience
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and web-based collaboration tools, including video conferencing platforms
