About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage credit risk strategically by monitoring the portfolio, analyzing customer behavior, and developing predictive models
- Conduct advanced financial analyses of new business opportunities, strategic investments, and customers, evaluating cash flow, EBITDA, ROE, profitability, debt levels, and repayment capacity
- Prepare opinions and recommendations to support Risk Committee decisions
- Develop, monitor, and enhance predictive credit models
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities within the portfolio, contributing to more informed decisions and loss mitigation
- Prepare management reports and executive presentations for senior management and the Board
- Conduct studies on credit portfolio quality, monitoring risk, delinquency, provisioning, and concentration
- Assess customers’ economic and financial profiles and propose segmentation, strategies, and recommendations
- Support the development of credit risk management methodologies, policies, and tools, ensuring adherence to governance standards and internal controls
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience developing, maintaining, and monitoring predictive models applied to credit risk management
- Knowledge of handling and analyzing large datasets, including data extraction, processing, and consolidation
- Strong experience analyzing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and financial ratios
- Experience preparing management reports and executive presentations for Committees, senior leadership, and the Board
- Knowledge of defining, developing, and monitoring credit, risk, and financial performance KPIs
- Experience building and maintaining management dashboards for monitoring portfolios, risk indicators, and customer performance
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify trends, risks, and opportunities and transform data into strategic insights
- Knowledge of data analysis, visualization, and business intelligence tools
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or a related field
