About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the focal point for the Freight Payments team in leading process improvement initiatives
  • Act as a technical reference for the continuous improvement of freight payment processes
  • Map, review, and redesign processes to improve efficiency, reduce rework, and mitigate risks
  • Identify automation and digitization opportunities in partnership with technology teams
  • Ensure process standardization and documentation, with a compliance focus, including SOX where applicable
  • Develop, monitor, and continuously improve operational and management KPIs
  • Prepare executive reports and presentations for leadership
  • Analyze data to identify deviations, opportunities, and trends
  • Support management in prioritizing initiatives and tracking results
  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as Sales, Tax, and IT, as well as external stakeholders when necessary

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Logistics, Engineering, or related fields
  • Previous experience with operational and/or financial processes, preferably in logistics or freight payments
  • Experience with process improvement, performance indicators, and data analysis
  • Experience with automation or continuous improvement projects is a plus
  • Advanced Excel/Microsoft Office skills, with a focus on data analysis
  • Power BI, including dashboard development and data storytelling
  • Knowledge of automation tools, such as RPA, is a plus
  • Basic knowledge of tax and/or logistics processes
  • Knowledge of SAP
