About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as a billable consultant and own delivery using project, program, or product management expertise
  • Develop and manage project/program plans, timelines, budgets, resource allocation, product roadmaps, and backlog priorities
  • Lead regular client meetings to review status, action items, and deliverables
  • Collaborate with cross-functional and technical teams to keep delivery on time and on budget
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and resolve issues before escalation
  • Assign project responsibilities and set clear expectations with the Technical Lead
  • Optimize and negotiate resource allocation
  • Ensure the Ippon delivery playbook is followed and provide process improvement feedback
  • Build and maintain client relationships across multiple levels and functions
  • Understand client business strategy, budget cycles, organizational structure, and competitive pressures
  • Own account revenue targets through existing engagement extensions and new opportunities
  • Drive extension conversations 6–8 weeks before SOW expiration
  • Co-draft SOW extensions, change orders, proposals, and new SOWs
  • Build account intelligence and run need-sensing activities
  • Maintain Salesforce account pipeline, stages, and weighted forecasts
  • Own account health across delivery quality, relationships, financial health, and growth
  • Run or shape Quarterly Business Reviews
  • Escalate account risks internally with sufficient lead time
  • Align delivery, sales, practice leadership, staffing, talent, and finance stakeholders
  • Use Claude and account health dashboards to prepare for meetings and update account plans

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience as a PM in a client-facing IT consulting role
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices
  • 3+ years of experience as a PM supporting technical product roadmaps and strategies
  • Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable pivoting between business and technical audiences
  • Experience working in or strong familiarity with the financial services domain
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and Claude (Chat, Cowork, Design) or comparable AI tools for account planning and client preparation
  • Prior experience in Product Management, Project/Program Management, or IT Strategy
  • Availability to travel to client sites for major meetings, typically 4 trips per year across assigned accounts, roughly 5–10% travel
