About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Ensure clinical research activities comply with applicable legal, regulatory, contractual, and data privacy requirements
- Oversee Clinical Contract Associate team activities
- Provide expert oversight and guidance on agreements
- Ensure contractual content complies with legal, regulatory, and data protection requirements
- Act as clinical data privacy champion for Global Medical Clinical Operations
- Ensure GDPR and applicable data protection compliance for clinical studies, registries, and Managed Access Programs
- Review and support privacy-related documentation
- Advise Clinical Operations teams on clinical contracts and data privacy
- Provide guidance supporting study start-up and execution
- Co-lead recruitment for the Clinical Contract Associate team
- Define, deploy, and improve onboarding and training programs
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master's degree in Law (mandatory)
- Proven experience in clinical contract negotiation and/or data privacy compliance within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or CRO industry
- Prior experience working within the pharmaceutical industry
- Strong working knowledge of GDPR, data protection regulations in clinical research, and clinical contracting frameworks
- Solid expertise in data protection and data privacy
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- French is a plus
