About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design and evolve the architecture of Ipsen’s Data & AI platforms
- Define reference architectures and best practices to guide data and AI use cases
- Work hands-on with project teams to design pragmatic and scalable solutions leveraging the platform
- Ensure alignment between platform engineering and data engineering teams to maximize reuse and consistency
- Contribute to the platform roadmap by identifying gaps, improvements, and optimization opportunities
- Participate in architectural governance by reviewing and validating solution designs
- Promote best practices in cloud, data architecture, and AI usage across teams
- Collaborate with platform engineers, data teams, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable and efficient data and AI solutions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Around 8+ years of experience in data, platform engineering, or solution architecture roles
- Strong experience designing data & AI platforms and data solutions in cloud environments
- Hands-on expertise with AWS and Databricks
- Good understanding of data & AI architecture (ingestion, processing, storage, governance, analytics)
- Experience working in cross-functional environments with both engineering and business teams
- Ability to combine architectural vision with hands-on execution
- Background in platform engineering or data engineering, with an evolution towards architecture roles
- Strong communication skills and ability to challenge and align stakeholders
- Ability to work with agents
- Fluent in English
