About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop the Medical Education strategy for the therapeutic area
- Plan, implement, and operationally track the Medical Education plan
- Contribute to the annual Country Brand Operational Plan for each indication/product
- Support the communication strategy for the therapeutic area
- Contribute to the development of the KOL plan (Medical Education)
- Plan, organize, implement, and document all events, including on-site support
- Manage contracts and speakers
- Coordinate the logistics of external service providers
- Further develop the multichannel approach
- Align with internal stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, ethical standards, compliance policies, and governance procedures
- Support budget management within Medical Affairs
- Identify opportunities for optimization and differentiation
- Implement evaluation and quality tools
- Measure participant satisfaction
- Promote best practices
- Ensure scientifically accurate and compliant communications
- Support expert meetings and Advisory Boards
- Document all activities in IT systems
- Create and analyze satisfaction surveys
- Contribute to evaluation and impact reports
- Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders
- Prepare reports on Medical Education activities
Requirements
What you’ll need- University degree in a scientific discipline; a PhD is preferred
- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry, particularly in Medical Affairs
- Project management expertise, ideally supported by relevant professional certifications or training
- Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements
- Experience in budget planning and control
- Business-fluent German and English
