About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Evaluate debt and equity alternatives, capital structure, financing needs, and fundraising scenarios
- Build frameworks to support leadership decisions about capitalization
- Create presentations and analyses for prospective investors, the Board, and senior leadership
- Translate company performance, strategy, and outlook into a clear financial narrative
- Build and maintain integrated financial models for operating plans, investments, hiring, growth opportunities, capital needs, and strategic scenarios
- Lead forecasting, annual planning, budgeting, variance analysis, and management reporting
- Develop actionable insights into business performance and its drivers
- Partner with functional and executive leaders on budgets, forecasts, investment cases, and operating plans
- Challenge assumptions and clarify financial implications of key decisions
- Evaluate strategic opportunities through market analysis, business cases, financial diligence, and decision support
- Build scalable strategic finance processes and analyses
- Help shape Iru’s financial strategy and support its next stage of growth
Requirements
What you’ll need- 6+ years of experience across strategic finance, FP&A, investment banking, management consulting, private equity, venture capital, or a related analytical discipline
- Background combining two or more of investment banking, management consulting, private equity or venture capital, and in-house strategic finance or FP&A strongly preferred
- Strong command of financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, scenario planning, valuation, and capital structure analysis
- Experience developing executive-, Board-, or investor-facing materials
- Ability to turn detailed analysis into a concise and persuasive narrative
- Meaningful hands-on FP&A experience
- Experience in a high-growth SaaS or technology company strongly preferred
- Excellent business judgment
- Proactive, resourceful approach and comfort operating in a fast-moving, high-stakes environment
