About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and enhance enterprise applications using C# and .NET
Support modernization and migration of legacy applications, including MS Access, Mainframe technologies, and other legacy platforms
Ensure data integrity, validation, and consistency throughout large-scale migration activities
Build and maintain web functionality using JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, and DOM manipulation
Develop and optimize Oracle SQL and PL/SQL, including complex queries, stored procedures, and database structures
Design and maintain MVC applications, including routing, application security, and maintainable development practices
Develop and support secure integrations using RESTful and SOAP web services
Build and maintain SSIS ETL processes, including data transformation and performance optimization
Design, deploy, and integrate SSRS reports for operational and business reporting
Develop and improve automated business workflows, workload assignment processes, and customer-facing digital services
Support online submission, tracking, invoicing, payment, and related business processes
Integrate applications with Enterprise Content Management (ECM) and other external systems
Collaborate with business users, technical teams, vendors, and stakeholders to translate requirements into reliable software solutions
Support modernization of complex applications used across high-volume enterprise environments

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong hands-on experience with C# and the .NET Framework
Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, debugging, clean code, and maintainable software design
Strong experience with JavaScript and jQuery, including AJAX and asynchronous web interactions
Advanced experience with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL
Experience developing applications using the MVC framework
Experience developing Windows and web-based applications
Hands-on experience with REST and/or SOAP APIs and secure system integrations
Strong experience with SSIS, including ETL development, data transformations, and performance tuning
Experience developing and integrating reports using SSRS
Experience modernizing or integrating large-scale enterprise applications
Practical experience with legacy-system migration and data migration projects
Experience developing or supporting complex automated workflows and business processes
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Previous experience supporting government, public-sector, permitting, licensing, or regulatory systems is nice to have
Experience with large-scale application and data migration initiatives is nice to have
Experience with permitting, inspection, review, invoicing, payment, or similar transactional workflows is nice to have
Experience integrating enterprise applications with ECM platforms is nice to have
Experience working with systems where historical records, regulatory requirements, and data integrity are particularly important is nice to have
U.S. citizenship is required for this engagement
Full-time commitment, working in alignment with the client's business hours and project needs
