Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Business, Industrial Technology, Certified Millwright, or a related discipline preferred
  • Equivalent combination of education and industry experience may be considered
  • 3-7+ years of industrial, technical, or engineering sales experience
  • Experience supporting manufacturing, automotive, industrial, energy, utility, or infrastructure customers
  • Demonstrated success in territory growth and account management
  • Experience working with centrifugal pumps and engineered solutions
  • Strong mechanical and industrial application knowledge
  • Ability to interpret technical specifications and drawings
  • Understanding of rotating equipment maintenance and reliability principles
  • Demonstrated experience identifying opportunities for pump repairs and upgrades
  • Strong presentation and proposal development capabilities
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Strong consultative selling abilities
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Results-oriented with a focus on customer success
  • Effective organizational and time-management skills
  • Frequent travel throughout Michigan and adjacent territories
  • Ability to work in industrial environments while complying with all applicable safety requirements
  • Occasional overnight travel as required
