About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide accurate and timely financial support for ITV Regional News
- Provide financial support as required by the Regional Finance Manager and the business
- Provide administrative support to the Senior Finance Business Partner
- Assist with the budget and forecast process
- Prepare detailed cost analysis of key cost drivers
- Assist in preparing News Monthly Reporting and Budget Packs
- Raise purchase orders, freelance contracts and staff overtime payments
- Assist the Regional Finance Manager with ad hoc project work
- Coordinate collection of environmental data for ITV environmental reporting, including data required for Albert certification
- Perform month-end tasks, help oversee budgets and monitor headcount
- Fulfil general finance activities on an ad hoc basis
Requirements
What you’ll need- Part-qualified accountant
- Strong Excel skills
- Capable of adapting to new financial systems
- Ability to travel and work with ITV News regions in different geographical locations
- Good communication skills
- Well organised and proactive with strong attention to detail
- Enthusiastic and willing to learn
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
