About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Work with Big Data Engineering to identify, track, and execute GCP cost-optimisation opportunities across data storage and BigQuery compute pipelines
  • Standardise financial and subscription data flows into structured data models for executive reporting and internal AI tools
  • Partner with Data Science to productionize Viewer Machine Learning models, including household composition and co-viewing, into live batch and API pipelines
  • Translate technical requirements and data schemas into user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritised agile backlogs
  • Collaborate with engineers, data analysts, and platform teams to validate data accuracy, monitor pipeline health, and maintain governance standards
  • Balance analytical depth with pragmatic delivery execution on complex technical challenges

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Strong analytical or quantitative background, such as a degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, Data Science, or equivalent practical experience
  • 1+ year of experience in a data analytics, software engineering, or technical graduate role transitioning into Product Management, or early-career Product Management experience with a strong technical appetite
  • Experience or interest in cloud data and AI
  • Ability to work with GCP and BigQuery data infrastructure
  • Ability to translate technical requirements and data schemas into structured user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritised agile backlogs
