About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead an intercompany team of 2 direct reports: RTR Accountants and Assistant Accountants
- Manage monthly comprehensive intercompany reconciliations across all ITV global entities on Oracle Fusion
- Investigate and resolve complex intercompany variances and discrepancies
- Deliver visibility into intercompany trading across UK and international counterparties
- Ensure prompt intercompany settlements
- Lead operational adjustments related to the M&E separation
- Manage timely and accurate Oracle Fusion intercompany accounting activities for month-end and year-end closes
- Process intercompany settlement and elimination journals in Oracle Fusion ERP and Oracle Intercompany Workbench
- Ensure processes are consistent, compliant, efficient, and aligned with accounting standards and internal control frameworks
- Act as key contact for external audits, providing documentation and technical explanations
- Test regular ERP SaaS releases and optimize close activities using Oracle Fusion capabilities
- Line manage and develop the team through regular 1-2-1s and performance reviews
- Support the Head of RTR with ad-hoc intercompany projects, analysis, and cross-pillar operational support
Requirements
What you’ll need- Fully qualified accountant (ICAEW / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent) with extensive post-qualification experience (PQE)
- Proven, in-depth intercompany accounting experience with a deep understanding of complex reconciliations and settlement procedures
- Proficiency in accounting software; direct experience using Oracle Fusion ERP highly preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work accurately under tight month-end close deadlines
- Support for process automation, digital thinking, and systems-led solutions
- Excellent communication skills to foster a collaborative, non-blame culture across cross-functional teams
- Experience working within an RTR team during a digital transformation, with a track record of innovative problem-solving
- Comfortable navigating uncertainty, organisational change, and evolving priorities
- Flexibility in working hours during critical reporting periods
- Ability to support other RTR pillars during absences or when management support is needed
